MSC WORLD AMERICA NAMED BEST NEW OCEAN SHIP BY THE POINTS GUY IN 2026 TPG AWARDS

Geneva, Switzerland - January 29, 2026 — MSC Cruises announced today that MSC World America has been named Best New Ocean Ship in the 2026 The Points Guy (TPG) Awards. Now in its eighth year, the annual awards recognize excellence across the travel industry, honoring the brands and experiences that deliver innovation, strong value and memorable guest experiences.

Designed for the North American market, MSC World America introduces a new approach to cruising, blending European style with American comfort across seven distinct onboard districts. Each district offers its own atmosphere, amenities and experiences, allowing guests of all ages to shape their vacation, whether seeking high-energy entertainment, family-focused fun or quieter spaces to unwind.

The ship features 19 dining venues, including the only Eataly at sea, along with a diverse lineup of bars, lounges and entertainment options. Onboard entertainment also includes “Dirty Dancing in Concert,” which brings the iconic film to life with live music and dancers.

Sailing year-round from Miami, MSC World America offers seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, all of which include a visit to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ private island destination in The Bahamas.
