Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – September 29, 2025 – MSC Cruises is adding a taste of Texas to the menu when MSC Seascape begins sailing 7-night itineraries from Galveston this November. The ship will debut new dishes and beverages inspired by the flavors of Texas, the Gulf Coast and beyond to cater to regional guests.
Texas and the Southern U.S. are both famously known for specific styles of cuisine. Guests can look forward to everything from Texas-style prime rib and Cajun-spiced pork loin to buttermilk pie and spicy margaritas. Reflecting the diversity of Texas, guests will also enjoy classics from the Lone Star State alongside MSC Cruises favorites, ranging from the Mediterranean inspired buffet to some of the line’s most popular upscale dining experiences.
MSC Seascape will also feature two tasting experiences in the Wine Cellar, where guests can choose between the MSC Bourbon & Bacon Experience, pairing bold bourbons with savory bacon, or the MSC Macallan Experience, showcasing the rich heritage and deep flavors of this iconic whisky.
Josef Jungwirth, Vice President of Food & Beverage Operations, MSC Cruises U.S. said, “As we welcome even more guests from Texas and the South on cruises from Galveston, we’re leaning into the region’s uniquely American cuisine. Our team has traveled the state to gather inspiration for what guests will find onboard. We have paired that with some of MSC Cruises’ most popular offerings from Europe and around the world to deliver the perfect mix of European style and American comfort.”
Some of the new dishes and beverages that can be enjoyed onboard MSC Seascape when she begins sailing from Galveston include:
In the Main Dining Room, guests will enjoy a rotating selection of regional dinner menus stretching from Texas to halfway around the world, including:
On sea days, MSC Cruises’ popular Tour De Brunch will offer an internationally inspired menu with items from around the world including, a jumbo cheeseburger (USA), Shakshuka (Tunisia), karaage Fried Chicken (Japan) and French toast sticks for kids to enjoy.

Sailings from Galveston will offer complimentary breakfast at HOLA! Tacos & Cantina with Latin-inspired menu items like huevos rancheros, breakfast burritos and Chilaquiles. Butcher’s Cut will also welcome guests for breakfast with traditional items like smoothie bowls, steak and eggs and western omelets.
