29/09/2021

• ‘The Nolans Go Cruising’ returns for second series starting 29th September at 9pm on Quest Red and discovery+
• The 6-part series follows the sisters as they explore the British Isles on board MSC Cruises’ flagship MSC Virtuosa

29th September 2021 - London, United Kingdom - One of MSC Cruises’ newest ships MSC Virtuosa will star in the much-awaited second series of ‘The Nolans Go Cruising’, as the sisters reunite after lockdown for a cruise to experience the best that the UK has to offer.

The 6-part series was filmed on board MSC Virtuosa during her inaugural season around the British Isles. The celebrity sisters - Coleen, Anne, Maureen and Linda, with sister Denise finally joining in - explore the UK’s coastal gems as well as making the most of the ship’s offering.

The sisters set sail from Southampton after almost 18 months in lockdown, visiting some of the UK’s most popular ports including Liverpool, Greenock, Portland in Dorset and Belfast in Northern Ireland. From exploring Britain’s cultural sites, to trying the MSC Aurea Spa, and plethora of pools and speciality restaurants on board MSC Virtuosa, the sisters cruise in style. The series culminates in a final one-off performance in the ship’s elegant 900 seat theatre with all five girls performing together on stage for the first time since 1978.

Speaking about the start of the new series, Antonio Paradiso, Managing Director, MSC Cruises UK & Ireland commented: “After such a challenging year for all of us, it was amazing to welcome the Nolan sisters on board MSC Virtuosa during the restart of our beloved cruise industry this summer. We saw such a fantastic response from our loyal MSC customers, as well as avid cruisers, who loved seeing the sisters enjoy our ship’s facilities in the first series, so it made total sense to bring the sisters back for a much-needed pick me up.

“Our ships have so much to offer the whole family and watching the show, everyone can feel a sense of the fun the Nolans experienced onboard MSC Virtuosa. We hope that the audience will see what a great experience the sisters had and feel inspired to take a cruise holiday too.”

MSC Virtuosa is one of MSC Cruises’ most innovative and environmentally advanced ships. The 19-deck ship offers guests of all ages the very best of fine dining restaurants - including the Indochine restaurant which was firm favourite with The Nolans during their voyage - world-class entertainment, relaxing bars and lounges, boutique shopping, spa and fitness centres, an aquapark and clubs for toddlers to teenagers.

On board MSC Virtuosa, guests can discover the brand-new MSC Starship Club: a futuristic, immersive experience at sea, home to the world’s first humanoid robotic bartender, Rob, shaking up a galactic choice of cocktails for guests. The ship’s showstopping feature is its iconic 112-metre promenade with a stunning LED sky dome, the social heart and hub of the ship.

The Nolans Go Cruising will feature on Quest Red every Wednesday at 9pm from the 29th September – 3rd November. The episodes will also be available to view via streaming service discovery+ following the broadcast.
